They don’t come for a few hours. They live here.
more than help, a home where life begins again
Niños de la Luz Venezuela is a children’s home where children living on the streets, abandoned, or at risk live, study, share daily life, and receive holistic care, emotional support, and formation in Christian values to build a new life.

Here the children wake up, study, share meals, do homework, play, learn rules, and rest every night. A home isn’t built with walls alone: it’s built with routines, bonds, care, and presence.
life is also rebuilt in the everyday
Life happens here.
Every routine matters. Waking up, breakfast, school, homework, family time, sports, conversation, and rest are all part of a deeper process: helping every child feel safe, cared for, and part of a home.
Waking up
Waking up in a house, getting ready for school, and starting the day with adults who are present.
Coming home
Returning from school to a place that’s waiting for them: the table, homework, and playtime every afternoon.
Living together
Sharing meals, learning rules, celebrating, making mistakes, and trying again as a community.
Being known
Being heard and supported by house aunts, uncles, and a team that knows their story and their pace.

Every story is unique,
and so is their care.
Every child arrives with emotions, wounds, talents, character, questions, and a future. We don’t try to make them all fit the same mold: we seek to know them, walk alongside them, and help them grow from who they are.
Here we don’t care for cases. We care for children.
Welcome to Niños de la Luz
A glimpse into our home and the life we share every day.
The people who guide this home
A team committed to giving every child a family and a future.

Our story
The short film «El Niño Que Llaman Mascota» (The Boy They Call “Pet”): the origin of Niños de la Luz and its founders.
Every child needs more than help. They need a home.
We operate a substitute family home model: a house where every child is known, cared for, and prepared for a life of dignity, values, and purpose.
A home, not an institution
A home isn’t built with walls alone. It’s built with routines, bonds, care, and presence.
Holistic well-being
Caring means feeding, teaching, listening, correcting, hugging, shaping, and being present on the good days and the hard ones.
Faith,
dignity, and purpose
We believe every child has worth, dignity, and purpose. Our Christian faith guides the way we care for them and sow hope.
Future and integration
We walk alongside them so they grow up with the tools, values, and confidence to build their future.
